Ryan graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 2002 before attending college at Louisiana State University (LSU) where he received his bachelor’s degree in 2006. After graduating from LSU, he moved to New Orleans and began working in the family business, Kropog Financial Group, LLC (KFG).
Within Kropog Financial Group, Ryan’s work focuses on financial planning, portfolio analysis, portfolio development, customer service, marketing, and research. Ryan holds the Series 7, Series 66, and Series 24 licenses with FINRA and also holds a State of Louisiana life insurance license. In 2012, Ryan earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, one of the premier designations in the financial services industry. In 2016, Ryan went on to earn the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services.
Outside of KFG, Ryan has devoted many volunteer hours to civic engagement work. He was a founding member and President of the now-dissolved Crescent City Business Alliance, a local networking organization for young professionals. He also served as President of the Lower Garden District Association, a 501(c)(3) civic association, from 2018 to 2020, where he worked with State and local officials on matters ranging from zoning to civic improvements.
Ryan currently lives in the Touro Bouligny neighborhood of New Orleans with his wife, Jennifer (a registered nurse), and their three children, Ella (2019), Zachary (2020), and Cameron (2024).
