Suzanne is a 1976 graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School. She then spent two years at LSU before deciding to join Jim at the University of New Orleans where she graduated with a B. A. in Elementary Education. Suzanne spent ten years in the Archdiocese of New Orleans parochial school system as a teacher at St. Edward the Confessor School and later at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. Suzanne and Jim moved to Mandeville in 2003 and are active parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville.
In 1991, Suzanne joined Jim in what is now known as Kropog Financial Group, LLC. Upon her semi-retirement in 2023, her part-time duties include maintaining compliance requirements for the business and handling the business’ personal bookkeeping and recordkeeping.
Suzanne enjoyed many years as a volunteer for such organizations as Catholic Charities, Access Pregnancy Counseling, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Hope House, and projects within the Junior League of Greater Covington. Presently, she is a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) Court #2741 at Our Lady of the Lake Church which assists with various charitable causes for St. Tammany Parish and the Catholic Church. She currently serves on the CDA board as their financial secretary and also holds a position as one of their two spiritual directors. Additionally, Suzanne is a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound and a member of Our Lady of the Lake’s ACTS Leadership Team.
In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, exercise, paint, get together with friends and family, and babysit her grandchildren. She’s been married to Jim since 1979, and they have two married children, Kelly (Paul) and Ryan (Jennifer). They've also been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Ella Grace, Zachary James, and Cameron Christopher.
